Lunchroom and social organization De Buren has opened a cafeteria in the office building at Weesperplein. In part due to coaching from De Omslag, government employees can now enjoy sandwiches, soup and other lunch items catered by De Buren.

One of the components of the Enhancement Program for social institutions set up by the city of Amsterdam is the acquisition of products and services provided by those social firms. Of late, Lunchroom de Buren and the city have closed such a deal. Starting Sept 2, De Buren will run a cafeteria in the office building at Weesperplein. City officials can now enjoy sandwiches, soup and other lunch items catered by De Buren. At the same time, De Buren has gained an additional location.

We regard this deal as a fine result of the coaching by De Omslag. With support, provided by Stichting Doen, De Buren was able to make great steps towards becoming a fully-fledged enterprise. We consider this an excellent representation and assume there will be many to follow.
